Even in a world that’s being shipwrecked,
remain brave and strong.
St. Hildegard of Bingen
THOUGHTS & FAITH
Filha Hildegarda is a blogsite by an aspiring traditional Benedictine oblate who, inspired by the Benedictine motto Prayer and Work, desires to write about living the Faith in the midst of a highly secularised world. Through this little online reflective space, she shares her insights that endeavours to make sense of this ever changing world, in both the spiritual and temporal realms. In her willingness to follow in the footsteps of the great St. Hildegard of Bingen who used her talents for the glory of God and the good of others, this writer spurs herself to do the same: not for earthly recognition but to revel in God’s wondrous deeds through the written word.
